Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) TWC is the state agency charged with overseeing and providing workforce development services to employers and job seekers of Texas. Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) Created in 1927, TVC’s purpose is to act as the state appointed advocate of Texas veterans as they attempt to secure the benefits rightfully earned in exchange for their service in our nation’s armed forces. TVC advocates for and provides service to veterans in the areas of Veteran Employment Services, Veteran Education Services, Claims Representation and Counseling, and Fund for Veteran Assistance grant funding, all to help improve the quality of life for Texas veterans and their families.
